Happy Holidays!
This holiday season, I wish to send extra-special greetings to all of you. We have traveled through some tough times recently and I think we need to celebrate the fact we are able to express thanks for all our encouragers, remember our absent friends and look to a future that encompasses a more just and compassionate world filled with kindness and love.
A Christmas Toast
Last year, in the depths of the pandemic, I was contacted by the organization, Voices of Hope, who were preparing an online Holiday Concert. They asked me if I would like to add something from A Christmas Carol? I chose, instead, to record this reading of a Christmas Toast that comes from Charles Dickens' Pickwick Papers. It's a speech that was interpolated into a version of A Christmas Carol I did in 2008 for the Dallas Theater Center. I hope you will enjoy it. You'll find the link below.
